How to Increase Speed in +1 Wings For Eggs: Upgrade Ladder

How speed works in +1 Wings For Eggs: the free 20 to 21 step, the paid +1 Speed ladder and its 3 R$ chip, and the rebirth speed requirement that resets it.

FAQ

What actually increases speed in +1 Wings For Eggs?
The +1 Speed row at the Upgrades stand. Every purchase adds exactly one point to the HUD Speed number and fires its own Increased Speed toast, so a fast buying session leaves a column of them on screen. The very first point, 20 to 21, is free.
How much does +1 Speed cost in +1 Wings For Eggs?
The first step is free. After that the panel always quotes your next point, and the cash price climbs fast with your level: $263 at 21 to 22, $1.06k at 31 to 32, $17.43k at 51 to 52 and $16.43M at 100 to 101 in the two recorded saves. The Robux chip beside it stayed at 3 R$ at every step we read.
Does the +1 Speed upgrade stack in +1 Wings For Eggs?
Yes. Each purchase is a permanent +1 for as long as the save lasts, and the next point is priced from your new level, so ten points bought in one session cost far more than the first chip suggests. Only a rebirth takes the points away again.
Is the speed upgrade worth buying in +1 Wings For Eggs?
Only when it is doing a job. Speed is the rebirth gate, and the panel asked for 40, 60 and 80 at the first three rebirths, so buy points when you are short of the next gate, or when the flat 3 R$ chip is cheaper than the inflated cash price. Otherwise your cash belongs in Carry and Stamina first.
Does rebirth reset your speed in +1 Wings For Eggs?
Yes. The panel states that rebirth resets your speed, stamina and money, and the HUD speed read 20 again the moment the third rebirth landed. Skip Rebirth costs Robux and keeps the stat, which is the only way to carry a high speed number through a reset.
Do wings increase flight speed in +1 Wings For Eggs?
No. The Wings shop sells stamina multipliers, and the cards we recorded read 1.5x and 1.7x Stamina while the HUD speed stayed at 100. Flight speed and flight stamina are two separate ladders.

Flight speed in +1 Wings For Eggs is the number in the bottom-left of your screen, and it only ever moves one point at a time. You raise it at the Upgrades stand, where the +1 Speed row sells the single next point: the first one from 20 to 21 is free, every later point adds exactly one to the stat and stacks its own “Increased Speed” notification, and the cash price of the next point climbs steeply while the Robux chip beside it does not. The reason the stat matters at all is not income — it is the Rebirth panel, which will not fire until your speed bar is full.

Seven stacked Increased Speed notifications in +1 Wings For Eggs climbing from 20 to 27 above the Upgrades panel asking $609 for the next point Each purchase fires its own toast, so a fast buying session leaves a column of them stacked over the stand.

What Actually Increases Speed in +1 Wings For Eggs?

The route you can always count on is a purchase. Open the Upgrades stand and look at the third row: the panel names your current speed, the value after one more point, and the price of that point. Pressing it adds one and fires “Increased Speed N to N+1!”; pressing it again adds another and stacks a second toast.

Upgrades stand panel in +1 Wings For Eggs quoting the +1 Speed row as 20 to 21 with a FREE cash chip and a 3 Robux alternative Free is free: the first point costs nothing, and the Robux chip beside it is only worth pressing if you refuse to wait.

The same row one point later already has a price: a fresh save quoted $263 for 21 to 22, with a 3 R$ alternative on the orange chip — the same 3 R$ the free step offered. Twenty steps later, at level 31, the single point costs $1.06k and the orange chip is still 3.

Upgrades stand panel in +1 Wings For Eggs pricing the +1 Speed row at 31 to 32 for $1.06k with a 3 Robux chip Ten points of speed have moved the cash price from $263 to $1.06k; the Robux chip has not moved at all.

Fresh-save +1 Wings For Eggs screen with a column of Increased Speed toasts from 21 to 28 behind the Upgrades row that prices 28 to 29 at $701 The toast text always names the exact pair of numbers, which turns the stack into a free speed tracker.

Two things are worth knowing before you start clicking. The row never sells you two points at once, and the price is recalculated after every purchase — so the chip you see is the price of that one point only, not the price of getting your speed high.

How the +1 Speed Price Ladder Works

The cash price is a function of your current level, not a flat fee. These are the chips we read across the two recorded saves, all with the same 3 R$ alternative:

Step on the +1 Speed row Cash chip Robux chip
20 to 21 FREE 3
21 to 22 $263 3
27 to 28 $609 3
28 to 29 $701 3
31 to 32 $1.06k 3
51 to 52 $17.43k 3
100 to 101 $16.43M 3

The curve behind those chips is steep. Each point roughly multiplies the next price by about 1.15 — our arithmetic on the seven prices above, not a rate the game prints anywhere — which is why the same row that asks $263 at level 21 is asking $16.43M by level 100. The Robux chip, meanwhile, never moved: 3 R$ buys one point at level 21 and it still buys one point at level 100.

Mid-game +1 Wings For Eggs Upgrades panel where a single point of speed costs $17.43k at level 51 while the Robux chip still reads 3 By level 51 the same one-point click costs $17.43k, which is real upgrade money rather than pocket change.

Late +1 Wings For Eggs speed purchase costing $16.43M at level 100 with the Increased Speed 99 to 100 toast still visible above the stand At level 100 the cash chip reads $16.43M. The 3 R$ chip beside it has not moved all game, and that gap is the whole argument for buying points with Robux instead of cash.

Why Speed Is Worth Anything: It Is the Rebirth Gate

Speed does not feed your pen, so on income alone it looks like the least important stat in the game. What it gates is the reset loop. The Rebirth panel shows a blue bar labelled with two numbers — your current speed over the speed that rebirth requires — and the playthrough we credit as our fact source is explicit that the rebirth does not go through until that requirement is met.

Rebirth Speed the panel required Money multiplier it previewed
Rebirth 0 to 1 40 x1 to x1.5
Rebirth 1 to 2 60 x1.5 to x2
Rebirth 2 to 3 80 x2 to x2.5

Rebirth panel in +1 Wings For Eggs with a partly filled 20 of 60 Speed bar blocking the x1.5 to x2 Money upgrade Two thirds short of the next rebirth, the panel shows exactly how many points you still owe before the multiplier unlocks.

Rebirth 2 to Rebirth 3 panel in +1 Wings For Eggs with the 80 of 80 Speed bar full and the x2 to x2.5 Money preview The third gate wants 80. The bar fills as you buy, and the panel does the counting for you.

That is the honest answer to “is the speed upgrade worth it”: the paid ladder is the price of a faster multiplier, not of a faster bird. The multiplier maths and the timing of the reset belong to the rebirth and offline cash guide, and the spend order between Carry, Stamina and Speed is laid out in the how to get cash guide, which reaches the same verdict from the income side: let speed come to you unless a gate is actually in front of you.

Does Rebirth Reset Your Speed?

Yes, and the panel is blunt about it: the line under the multiplier preview reads “Rebirth resets your speed, stamina, and money!” The moment our recorded third rebirth landed, the HUD speed dropped from 80 back to 20 — the same starting number a fresh save has, and the same number the next gate then measures you against.

You’ve reached rebirth 3 toast in +1 Wings For Eggs with the HUD speed dial reset to 20 after the reset wiped the stat Pressing Rebirth hands over the multiplier and takes the speed back down to 20 in the same second.

The escape hatch is the purple Skip Rebirth button, which is labelled “KEEP SPEED!” and carries a Robux token icon instead of a cash chip. If you have just paid millions for the last few speed points, skipping protects them — but it also means no multiplier, and the button never rendered a readable price in the footage we captured, so we cannot quote the exact charge. That trade is exactly what the rebirth guide exists to settle, so start there before you press either button.

What Speed Changes About a Run

Once the number is high, the change you feel is time in the air. Speed decides how fast you cross a gap, and the stamina bar only drains while you are flying, so a faster crossing costs less stamina for the same distance. In the recorded 100-speed run the Arctic crossing left 68 of 70 Wing Stamina on the bar with the laser barrier still ahead, which is a comfortable margin on a gap the stamina tables treat as a mid-game gate.

Arctic Zone crossing in +1 Wings For Eggs at Speed 100 with 68 of 70 wing stamina left and the laser barrier ahead At 100 speed the Arctic gap barely dents the bar, which is the practical return on every point you buy.

Which zone each stamina total unlocks is mapped in the eggs and areas guide, and if the stamina bar is the thing failing you rather than the clock, the beginner guide explains why stamina is the stat to fix first.

Do Wings Add Flight Speed?

No, and the shop is the proof. The Wings cards we captured show why: Armored Wings read 1.5x Stamina and Jungle Wings read 1.7x Stamina, with no speed stat anywhere on the card while the HUD dial sat at 100 during the unlock. If your problem is reaching a zone, wings and stamina upgrades are the fix; if your problem is the Rebirth gate’s number, only the Upgrades stand moves it.

The full multiplier ladder, prices and upgrade order for wings live in the wings tier list, which owns that table.

When Is Buying +1 Speed the Right Call?

Three cases, and only three:

  1. You are short of the next rebirth gate. The panel told us 40, then 60, then 80. Buying the last few points is the direct way to unlock the next multiplier, so those points are progress rather than comfort.
  2. The cash chip has outgrown the Robux chip. At 3 R$ a point, the paid ladder is a rounding error in Robux while the same point costs $17.43k and then $16.43M in cash. The orange chip is the one part of this row that does not scale with your level.
  3. A cheap early step. Below roughly level 30 the chip is still hundreds of coins, so a point or two is harmless — that is what the cash guide’s “speed last” rule is actually protecting you from, not the first $263.

Everything else is a detour. A speed point does not feed your pen, and every coin in it is a coin not spent on Carry or Stamina — the same conclusion the cash guide reaches, with the numbers behind it. When you are done with the stand, the egg-hunting side of the game continues in the egg stealing guide, the event-spawn layer is covered in the eternal and secret eggs guide, and the chase for the single best nest is written up in the rarest egg guide.

What We Could Not Verify

House rules: this page only states what the recorded frames show, and the following could not be confirmed on screen, so treat them as open.

  • Whether flying through the floating rings also raises the number. Our eggs and areas guide credits ring pickups and our wings tier list says speed builds as you fly through rings. In the two captures used here, every “Increased Speed” toast we could tie to a cause came with the Upgrades stand open and a price being paid, and one run sat at exactly 100 across three long crossings. That is not a refutation — it is an absence of evidence in this footage, so we are not restating the ring route as if we had filmed it.
  • Whether the +20-per-rebirth step continues. We read 40, 60 and 80 on three consecutive panels. We did not film the fourth gate, so we cannot say whether the next requirement keeps that rhythm.
  • Whether speed has a ceiling. The highest number we recorded on the HUD was 100, but the credited fact-source playthrough reaches 215 on the same dial in a later save, so the low figures here are progress, not a cap.
  • The exact cash chips in the very late game. The $16.43M chip is the top step we read; beyond that the panel is simply out of frame.
