Eggs are the only real source of income in +1 Wings For Eggs, and the animal inside an egg matters far more than the egg itself. This guide covers what happens after you place an egg in your pen: how long incubation takes, how many animals can earn at once, what each species actually pays per second, and which pets deserve a slot in your farm instead of a trip to the Sell Animals stand.
Pen setup decides income: which species fills the slot matters more than how many slots you own.
If you are still learning the flight side of the game, start with the +1 Wings For Eggs beginner guide and come back here once your first animal is in a pen.
How an Egg Becomes a Working Pet
Hatching is a four-step pipeline, and only the last step makes money:
- Place the egg in your pen. Walk into your base pen and press E to drop the egg out of your backpack. A countdown timer appears above the egg the moment it lands (Floppys Pro, 1:01).
- Wait out the incubation timer. Timer length tracks rarity rather than the pet’s stats. In the recorded runs a Common Brown Mouse Egg showed 0:41, an Uncommon Mystical Ladybug Egg 1:25, an Ice Wolf Egg nine minutes, an Eternal Void Phoenix Egg 1 hour 24 minutes and the Poseidon Trial Egg 2 hours 59 minutes (MoreNizarisaqt, 5:03).
- Skip incubation with Robux if you are impatient. The shop offered Skip Incubation at 24 Robux for a Rare egg, 80 Robux for a Mythical egg and 112 Robux for a pony egg.
- The animal starts earning immediately. Once it hatches, the pet sits in the pen and pays cash per second with no further input from you.
Hatch time follows rarity, not the pet’s eventual income.
Hatching something new also pays through the Index
Every first hatch of a species is logged in the Index, and the Index pays a one-off claim plus reward eggs. Early claims were worth $62,000 and later batches about $1.16 million in the Floppys Pro run, while a late Deep Ocean batch offered +$21.6 quadrillion alongside a free Void Phoenix Egg (Floppys Pro, 2:31). That makes hatching new species worth doing even when the animal itself is worse than what you already own.
Pen Capacity: Empty Slots Earn Nothing
Your pen is the only place that generates income, and the Active Animals counter is the number that matters. It reads filled slots over your maximum, and the recorded runs passed through 5/5, 9/9 and 20/31 as the account grew.
- Raise the cap at the Upgrades stand. When the pen filled up, the game prompted “You can now upgrade your farm size!”, and each farm upgrade in the MoreNizarisaqt run added two animal slots (MoreNizarisaqt, 2:31).
- Carry limit is a different number. The Upgrades stand has three rows — +2 Stamina, +1 Carry and +1 Speed. Carry decides how many eggs you can fly home with, not how many animals your pen holds. The first carry purchase took the recorded run from 1 to 2 (Floppys Pro, 5:02).
- Weight matters on the way home. Eggs are heavy — a Volcano egg carried in the Floppys Pro run weighed 1,919,019 kg — and a second egg visibly slows the flight back, which is why the egg stealing guide recommends banking one at a time until carry is upgraded.
Capacity is the first ceiling you hit — an empty slot earns nothing at all.
Carry is about the trip home; pen capacity is about the slots back at base.
A 1.9 million kg egg slows the flight, so a second egg can cost you both.
After a rebirth your pen is emptied and your speed, stamina and cash reset, so the capacity you built is the part you rebuild immediately. The rebirth and offline cash guide covers what survives a reset.
What Each Animal Actually Earns
Species and rarity set the baseline, but they are not the whole story. This is every cash-per-second value that appeared on a pen label or Active Animals panel in the two recorded runs:
| Animal | Rarity seen | Cash per second observed | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chicken | Common | $4 /s | Floppys Pro, 0:00 |
| Brown Mouse | Common, Diamond | $385 /s to $2.12k /s | Floppys Pro, 2:01 |
| Mystical Ladybug | Uncommon | $463 /s to $695 /s | Floppys Pro, 2:31 |
| Crocodile | Rare | $700 /s to $50k /s | MoreNizarisaqt, 5:34 |
| Lava Dog | Legendary | $113k /s | MoreNizarisaqt, 4:03 |
| Shark | Mythic | $17M /s, $246M /s as rainbow | MoreNizarisaqt, 5:34 |
| Pink Frog | Mythic to Cosmic | $81,050 /s, $243,178 /s, $189.38B /s | Floppys Pro, 4:32 |
| Poisonous Ant | Epic | $11B /s | MoreNizarisaqt, 11:10 |
| Pterodactyl | Epic | $32B /s | MoreNizarisaqt, 11:10 |
| Bee | Legendary | $8.16T /s | Floppys Pro, 18:08 |
| Three-Headed Snake | Eternal | $91.44T /s | Floppys Pro, 18:08 |
| Void Phoenix | Eternal | $1.19T /s to $1.63T /s | Floppys Pro, 18:08 |
| King Jaguar | Cosmic, Hacked | $1.75T /s, $3T /s when hacked | MoreNizarisaqt, 13:43 |
| Crab | Rare, Hacked | $81T /s | MoreNizarisaqt, 16:46 |
| Poseidon Tralala | Eternal | $3.37Qa /s (3.37 quadrillion) | Floppys Pro, 23:47 |
The same species appears with wildly different numbers because the label multiplies several things at once: the zone the egg came from, the mutation tags attached to that specific egg, the pet’s weight bracket, and your permanent rebirth multiplier. A Rare Crab paid 81 trillion per second in one run while a Mythic Shark paid 17 million per second in another. Read the number on the label, not the rarity word.
One notation note before you compare rows: the game’s shorthand runs k → M → B → T → Qa → Qi, so $3.37Qa/s is 3.37 quadrillion per second and the $21.6Qa reward below is 21.6 quadrillion — not quintillion.
Rarity sets the floor, but zone and mutations set the ceiling.
Early pens are a volume game until one mutated pet outearns the whole row.
A Cosmic tag on a mid-tier species can beat a plain high-rarity pet.
Rarity, weight and income in one list — swapping a slot is arithmetic, not guesswork.
Mutations Double What You Already Have
Mutation tags are the cheapest multiplier in the game because they attach to eggs you were already going to steal. Across the recorded runs the labels showed Diamond, Golden, Lava, Splash, Cosmic, Rainbow and Hacked variants, with Splash appearing on roughly 15% of eligible eggs during the window the creator checked (Floppys Pro, 14:05).
The Hacker Event is the clearest example: a King Jaguar hatched at $1.75 trillion per second, and the same pet tagged as hacked showed about $3 trillion per second — close to double (MoreNizarisaqt, 13:43). Hatched animals keep the tag, so a mutated Common can beat an unmutated Mythic from a richer zone. The all eggs and areas guide tracks which mutations spawn in which zone.
Index rewards hand over cash and, at the top end, free high-rarity eggs.
Keep, Bench or Sell
A full pen is not the same as a productive pen. The Active Animals panel lists each pet with its rarity, its cash per second and its weight, which makes the decision mechanical:
- Keep the highest earner in every slot. A Chicken at $4 per second occupies exactly the same slot as a Bee at $8.16 trillion per second.
- Sell the pet you just replaced. The Sell Animals stand at your base buys animals back, and the cash goes straight into the next carry, stamina or wings upgrade.
- Bench pets you want to keep for the Index. Unequip moves an animal out of the active roster without destroying it, so you can hold a collection entry without paying the income cost.
- Replace, never stack. Two mediocre animals in two slots always lose to one good animal plus its upgrade budget, which is the same conclusion the cash farming guide reaches from the upgrade side.
Sell replaced pets, then put the cash straight into carry or stamina.
Pen, Wings stand and Upgrades stand — that triangle is the whole offline loop.
The Best Pet Line-up for Offline Income
Offline income is simply the sum of every animal in your pen times the seconds you are away, so the goal is to log out with every slot filled by the best available species:
- Fill all slots before you disconnect. An empty slot is zero income for the whole session.
- Push toward Eternal species. Void Phoenix, Three-Headed Snake and Poseidon Tralala all came from Deep Ocean and Void nests and paid trillions to quadrillions per second, far beyond Legendary and Mythic pets.
- Keep the mutated version of any duplicate. Diamond, Cosmic and Hacked tags raise the same species noticeably.
- Claim Index rewards as they unlock. They hand over cash and free eggs, including high-rarity eggs you cannot reach yet.
- Rebuild the line-up after every rebirth. The cash multiplier you gain is permanent, the pen contents are not.
- Spend the offline payout on capacity. More slots and better wings let you reach richer nests, which feeds the next batch of pets.
You need stamina, not just cash, to reach the nests that hold Eternal eggs, so line the pen up alongside the wing tiers in the all 10 wings tier list. Remember to claim the free group animal listed in the active codes and rewards page — it is a free first pen slot filler.
